Für alle, die auf den ultimativen Looper gewartet haben - mit der Einführung des RC-50 von Boss gibt es mehr Features denn je zuvor in einer Loop-Station. Die in einer spacigen Einheit mit 7 Fußschaltern verpackte Loop-Station lässt dich drei Stereo-Loops gleichzeitig bearbeiten, wobei jeder Loop aus mehreren Overdubs bestehen kann. Mit anderen Worten: Du kannst für jeden Loop Phrase auf Phrase aufnehmen und somit ein komplexes Klangbild erzeugen.

Bist du bereit dein Publikum umzuhauen? Mit einem einzigen RC-50 kann ein einzelner Gitarrist, Bassist, Keyboarder oder Sänger einen perfekten Sound live on Stage produzieren. Es gibt drei simultane Stereo-Loops, die jeweils einem Fußschalter zugewiesen sind. Jeder Kanal kann dutzende von Loops/ Phrasen beinhalten, die du alle nacheinander speicherst, so dass das Ergebnis richtig fett wird.

In Sync

Ob als Master oder Slave genutzt, kann der RC-50 an ein MIDI-Netzwerk angeschlossen werden. Für Bands, die digitale Audio Tracks, Sequenzen und bzw. oder Video-Elemente bei ihren Live-Gigs benutzen ist SYNC nicht nur luxuriös, sondern unerlässlich. Für Szenarien, wie diese, kann der RC-50 an einen Master-Sequenzer oder einer anderen MIDI-Clock angeschlossen werden, um sicher zu gehen, dass deine Loop-Performances voll synchronisiert sind.

Interne Funktionen des RC-50 sind Loop Quantize (zum einfachen Aufnehmen von perfekten Loops), Loop Sync (ermöglicht allen Phrasen in SYNC zu starten) und Tempo Sync (was das Tempo der verschiedenen Phrasen während der Wiedergabe regelt).

Rhythm Guide

Der RC-50 unterstützt 376 Rhythm Patterns mit vielen verschiedenen Timings, um das Aufnehmen so inspirierend und angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Warum also einen schalen Track aufnehmen, wenn du auch rockige Grooves zur Verfügung hast?

Eindrucksvolle I/O

Auf der Rückseite des RC-50 findet man viele Anschlüsse, wie einen Stereo Eingang und Ausgang. Aber dies ist nur der Anfang. Es gibt vier mögliche Wege, wie Audiodaten in den RC-50 gelangen können: Klinke-Stereo Eingang (L, R/Mono), XLR Eingang mit 48V Phantom Power (ideal für Gesangs-Mikrofone), AUX Eingang und USB für das Importieren von WAV-Dateien vom Computer.

Audio-Signale können über je ein Stereo-Klinken Paar des Main- oder Sub-Ausgangs, den Kopfhörer-Ausgang und USB für Daten/Audio Backup ausgegeben werden. MIDI In und OUT-Buchsen sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Zwei Eingänge ermöglichen den Anschluss optionaler Expression Pedale oder Fußtaster. Bis zu vier Fußtaster können gleichzeitig genutzt werden.

  • RC-50 Paul Hanson Custom Loops

    This download contains 15 stereo WAV files that you can load into your RC-50 and use as phrase loops. The files are organized into five folders, with each folder containing three WAV files. The files are named so that they will load into Patches 90-94 in the RC-50.

  • RC-50 System Update Version 1.01

    This is the latest operating system for the RC-50. This update adds the ability to change the Playback-start Operation. Please refer to the "RC50 Update ReadMe.pdf" for the update procedure. Please refer to the "RC-50AdditionsOM.pdf" for this version's additions to the Owner's Manual.

    NOTE:The update files that you download and save to your computer from the link above are enclosed in a compressed zip file. These files will need to be extracted from the zip file before you can burn them to a CD.

    You can do this by using the WinZip application on your PC running Windows XP, or by using Stuffit Expander on your Macintosh (needed for OS 10.2.x or below). If you're using Mac OS X 10.3.x or above, then you will not need Stuffit Expander.

    When you double-click on the downloaded file that you saved to your computer, WinZip or Stuffit Expander should startup automatically. If you do not have WinZip (PC) or Stuffit Expander (Mac) installed, then you must download it, install it, and extract/unzip the update files folder before you can complete the update procedure.
