Preparing in advance to use FS-1-WL Editor
- FS-1-WL Editor for macOS is compatible with the FS-1-WL System Program Ver.1.10 or later. Please update the FS-1-WL system program to the latest version.
- No dedicated driver installation is required.
Downloading and unarchiving the compressed file
- Read the software license agreement at the bottom of the screen and select the "I agree" check box.
- Click the "Download File" button to download the system program.
- Double-click the file to unzip it if the file is not already unzipped.

How to install
- Double-click “FS-1WL Editor Installer(.pkg)” in the unzipped folder.
- After the installer launches, proceed with the installation following the instructions on the screen.
Starting the application
- Connect FS-1-WL and the computer with a USB cable.
- Turn on the FS-1-WL.
- Go to “Applications” and open the “BOSS” -> “FS-1-WL EDITOR” folder, then double-click “FS-1-WL Editor(.app)” inside the folder.
*Selection screen of connecting device will appear for the first time you run the software. (After the second time running, the device will be chosen automatically.)
- Select FS-1-WL USB-MIDI and click “OK”.
*During using the application, if a message prompting you to allow access appears, click “OK”.
*The device can be changed from the DEVICE SETTING.

Improvement
- The MIDI CC number range has been expanded. It is now possible to assign any MIDI CC number (0–127) to control an external device.
