MS-3 Editor / Librarian Ver.1.0.3 for macOS / OS X

PREPARING IN ADVANCE TO USE MS-3 EDITOR/LIBRARIAN VER.1.0.3
To use MS-3 Editor/Librarian, you need to update the MS-3 System Program to Ver. 1.07 or later and install the USB driver corresponding to the operating system you are using on your computer.

Downloading and unarchiving the compressed file
  1. Read the Software License Agreement at the bottom of this screen and tick the "I Agree..." checkbox.
  2. Click the "Download" button to download the installer.
  3. Double-click the file to unzip it if the file is not already unzipped.

Installing theE app
  1. Double click "MS-3 Editor Librarian (.dmg)" in the unzipped folder.
    A disk image appears.
  2. Drag and drop the "MS-3 Editor Librarian" icon onto the “Applications folder” icon.
  3. Close the folder that you opened in step 1.

Launching the app
  1. Use a USB cable to connect the MS-3 to your computer, and then turn on the power of the MS-3.
    *Do not use a USB cable that is designed only for charging a device. Charge-only cables cannot transmit data.
  2. Go to Launchpad or Applications and double-click "MS-3 Editor Librarian".

  • MS-3 Ver.1.07 is now supported.
Bug Fixes
This release fixes the following issues.
  • When ASSIGN TARGET is set to "FX1 TYPE" or "FX2 TYPE", the changing data of "TARGET MIN" or "TARGET MAX" is not sent to the MS-3.
  • After changing to the patch which's ASSIGN TARGET is selected to "MIDI", "CH" and "CC#" are uneditable.

  • MS-3 Ver.1.06 is now supported.
Bug Fixes
This release fixes the following issues.
  • Dragging a patch to Patch list 26-1 or after results in a freeze.
  • Other minor bugs.
Functionality Improvement
  • The note name indication when using the tuner was adjusted to match the MS-3.

This application has the following requirements.
  • Computer
    * Mac computers running Microsoft Windows are not supported.
*An Internet connection is required to use BOSS TONE CENTRAL. Some connection services may require a data communication fee.
*While we have confirmed that this app works on a typical computer that meets the system requirements stated above, we cannot guarantee that it will work under all circumstances. Please note that differences in design specifications or usage environments of individual computers may result in varying processing capabilities, even when the system requirements are identical.
