Downloading and unarchiving the compressed file
- Read the software license agreement at the bottom of the screen and select the "I agree" check box.
- Click the "Download File" button to download the installer.
- Double-click the file to unzip it if the file is not already unzipped.

Installing the app
- Double-click "BOSS TONE STUDIO for SY-1000 (.pkg)" in the unzipped folder.
- The installer starts. Follow the on-screen instructions to install.
- When the screen indicates "The installation was successful. The software was installed.", click the [Close] button.
Launching the app
- Use a USB cable to connect the SY-1000 to your computer, and then turn on the power of the SY-1000.
*Do not use a USB cable that is designed only for charging a device. Charge-only cables cannot transmit data.
- Go to Launchpad or Applications/BOSS/SY-1000 folder, and double-click "BOSS TONE STUDIO for SY-1000 (.app).

This release fixes the following issues.
- When ASSIGN TARGET has been edited on the SY-1000, the MIN and MAX values in the ASSIGN list in BOSS TONE STUDIO sometimes show incorrect values.
- When ASSIGN TARGET has been edited on the SY-1000, the ASSIGN Detail View window in BOSS TONE STUDIO sometimes disappears.
- When a factory reset is carried out on the SY-1000, PATCH LIST in BOSS TONE STUDIO sometimes fails to be updated automatically.
- After the screen has been switched in BOSS TONE STUDIO, the [ DYNAMIC SYNTH - SEQ : SEQ LENGTH ] value sometimes fails to be updated correctly.

*An Internet connection is required to use BOSS TONE EXCHANGE. Some connection services may require a data communication fee.
