GT-1000CORE System Program ( Ver.2.02 ) HOW TO KNOW THE VERSION Before you start, check the system program version of your GT-1000CORE. While holding down [ EXIT ] button, turn power ON. Continue to hold down EXIT until the GT-1000CORE logo appears on the display. After a short while, the version information appears on the display. If this shows the latest version (Version 2.02 or later), there's no need to update your GT-1000CORE. After verifying the displayed version, turn off the power. UPDATE HISTORY [ Ver.2.02 ] JUL 2026 Additional Functions The following function was added. The parameters are added to PLAY OPTION to disable the function that works when two switches are pressed simultaneously. Bug Fixes The following bugs were fixed. When switching patches without interrupting the sound, noise was produced under certain conditions. (How to avoid this in older versions) This noise does not occur when switching patches with a mute of sound. If you encounter issues such as noise during patch switching, please move the position of the unused block (effect block whose SW is OFF) so that the chain block position does not remain the same in patches before and after the switching. When "MANUAL" is assigned to the built-in switches as CONTROL FUNCTION, it does not work well under certain conditions. (How to avoid this in older versions) Setting ASSIGN SOURCE to a switch other than the built-in switches can avoid this issue. Other minor bugs have been fixed. [ Ver.2.01 ] MAR 2026 Specification Change The following specification was changed. The polyphonic tuner function has been removed. Bug Fixes The following bug was fixed. Fixed the bug in the processing to prevent mute when switching memories. (How to avoid this in older versions) If the conditions of "no block position change occurs on the chain" and "no change of TYPE on the same block" are met, the patch will be switching seamlessly without a mute of sound. In Ver.2.01, a bug was fixed in the conditional judgment section where "do not change TYPE on the same block." If you encounter issues such as noise during patch switching, please move the position of the unused block (effect block whose SW is OFF) so that the chain block position does not remain the same in patches before and after the switching. [ Ver.2.00 ] JUL 2024 Please refer to the "GT-1000CORE Parameter Guide" for detailed information in the [ Owner's Manuals ]. Additional Functions 3 original BOSS high-gain amp types have been added to AIRD PREAMP. X-ULTRA X-OPTIMA X-TITAN * Preset patches that use the added TYPE settings are contained in P201 through P215. For details, refer to "GT-1000CORE Sound List." 6 types of bass amps have been added to AIRD PREAMP. STUDIO BASS SILVER TUBE CLASSIC BLUE SOLID STACK FAT TUBE DARK DRV 2 BOSS distortion types have been added to DISTORTION. SD-1 DS-1 The following 3 models have been added to AIRD OUTPUT SELECT. KATANA-100/212 GEN 3 KATANA-100 GEN 3 KATANA-50 GEN 3 Functionality Improvement You can set time preference in AUTO OFF function at which the power turns off automatically. Bug Fix Minor bugs have been fixed. [ Ver.1.13 ] DEC 2023 Bug Fixes The following bugs were fixed. ASSIGN PC cannot be sent to more than one MIDI channel. When executing INSERT of WRITE function, EFFECT parameters which are added at ver.1.10 become the initial values. When changing the BPM from BTS on the effect edit view, the calculated DELAY TIME is not updated. [ Ver.1.10 ] JAN 2022 Please refer to the "GT-1000CORE Parameter Guide" for detailed information in the [ Owner's Manuals ]. Additional Functions "MASTERING FX," which demonstrates potential for line output, has been added to FX TYPE. Eleven types of settings that combine multiple effects such as multi-band compressor, limiter, enhancer, and equalizer have been provided as TYPE settings. Full-fledged mastering to boost the acoustic pressure of the sound and make sound contours more distinct can now be carried out. The GT-1000CORE is a processor distinguished by a vivid amp sound, but the addition of these effects makes it easy to obtain a line sound having adaptable fighting potential even in recording that demands precise adjustment. We recommend using these with placement after an SP.SIMULATOR. Ten types of SP TYPE settings designed based on IR data having a realistic presence have been added to the SP.SIMULATOR parameters. Ribbon mic and blended dynamic/ribbon mic MIC TYPE settings have been added to the SP.SIMULATOR parameters. Five types of BOSS and Roland delays have been added to the MASTER DELAY parameter. The DD-8's acclaimed WARM and GLITCH settings, the vintage digital SDE-3000, and the still-popular STANDARD and ANALOG parameters featured on the DD-20 have been added. Bug Fixes The following bugs were fixed. ASSIGN values set for an external pedal take effect at startup. The operation of BOSS TONE STUDIO becomes extremely slow due to MIDI IN THRU and USB IN THRU settings. [ Ver.1.03 ] DEC 2021 The version number has been updated due to management-related circumstances. Product specifications are unaffected. [ Ver.1.02 ] NOV 2020 Bug Fixes The following bugs were fixed. Depending on compressor settings, noise sometimes occurs when switching patches. Under certain conditions, ROUTING of DIVIDER fails to work as desired when switching patches. When the [UP] and [DOWN] switches are pressed at the same time at the tuner screen to quit, then on next use, the tuner is set to "Monophonic Tuner." [ Ver.1.01 ] OCT 2020 Bug Fixes The following bugs were fixed. Under certain conditions, VIBRATO fails to work as desired when switching patches. Behavior is not as desired when the STEREO LINK parameter for SP.SIMULATOR is set to OFF. The effect level sometimes rises when CARRYOVER is active. Under particular conditions, the DUCK parameter for REVERB fails to operate as desired when patches are switched. Other minor bugs.
