Boss stelt voor: De RC-50, het ideale instrument om live met loops te werken, de meest uitgebreide Loop Station ooit gebouwd. Eigenlijk is het gewoon het beste live looping-instrument ooit. Met zijn zeven footswitches laat de RC-50 toe om drie sporen met stereofrasen tegelijkertijd aan te sturen. Elk spoor kan je ook meermaals overdubben. Anders gezegd, je kan frase over frase opnemen, één voor één, op ieder spoor, tot je een gigantische track bekomt.

Klaar om het publiek plat te spelen? Met één enkele RC-50 kan iedere gitarist, bassist, toetsenist of vocalist live op het podium een perfect gesync'te muur van geluid optrekken. Je beschikt op de RC-50 over drie simultane stereosporen die je elk met hun eigen footswitch bedient. Ieder spoor kan tientallen loops//frasen bevatten die je één voor één op elkaar kan stapelen. Stel je eens voor wat voor massieve arrangementen of solo's je daarmee kan brengen.





In Sync


De RC-50 beschikt over 3 Phrases waarvan je op eenvoudge wijze kan kiezen of ze met elkaar in sync spelen of niet. Hij beschikt zelfs over Loop Quantize (om makkelijk loops op te nemen), Loop Sync (om alle frasen synchroon te laten starten) en Tempo Sync (om tijdens de weergave het tempo van meerdere frasen gelijk te trekken).





Rhythm Guide


Om je opnamen zo leuk en inspirerend mogelijk te maken, biedt de RC-50 zo'n 379 Rhythm Guide-patronen in allerlei maatsoorten. Gewoon meespelen! Waarom opnemen met een droge click track als je evengoed kan meejammen met rockende grooves?





Indrukwekkende aansluitmogelijkheden


Aan connectoren geen gebrek op het achterpaneel van de RC-50: er is een volwaardig stereo input- en output-traject, en dat is nog maar het begin. Er zijn vier manieren om audio in de RC-50 te krijgen: de Inst Input jack ((L, R/mono), de XLR-input met 48V fatoomvoeding (ideaal voor zangmicrofoons), de Aux-input (mini-jack) en de USB-poort (WAV-bestanden). Je kan audio uitsturen via de main stereo out jacks (L, R/mono), de sub stereo out jacks (L, R/mono), de hoofdtelefoonuitgang of de USB-poort (data/audio backup). Er is eveneens een MIDI IN- en een MIDI OUT-poort voorzien, alsook twee jacks (TRS) voor een optionele expressiepedaal of een footswitch. Je kan tot vier footswitches tegelijk gebruiken.





Bonusfuncties


De RC-50 heeft bovendien nog andere opmerkelijke functies in petto. Je kan frasen vooruit of achteruit afspelen. Je kan frasen retriggeren in "free time" of netjes in de maat. Fouten kan je onmiddellijk corrigeren met de Undo/Redo-pedaal.

  • RC-50 Paul Hanson Custom Loops

    This download contains 15 stereo WAV files that you can load into your RC-50 and use as phrase loops. The files are organized into five folders, with each folder containing three WAV files. The files are named so that they will load into Patches 90-94 in the RC-50.

  • RC-50 System Update Version 1.01

    This is the latest operating system for the RC-50. This update adds the ability to change the Playback-start Operation. Please refer to the "RC50 Update ReadMe.pdf" for the update procedure. Please refer to the "RC-50AdditionsOM.pdf" for this version's additions to the Owner's Manual.

    NOTE:The update files that you download and save to your computer from the link above are enclosed in a compressed zip file. These files will need to be extracted from the zip file before you can burn them to a CD.

    You can do this by using the WinZip application on your PC running Windows XP, or by using Stuffit Expander on your Macintosh (needed for OS 10.2.x or below). If you're using Mac OS X 10.3.x or above, then you will not need Stuffit Expander.

    When you double-click on the downloaded file that you saved to your computer, WinZip or Stuffit Expander should startup automatically. If you do not have WinZip (PC) or Stuffit Expander (Mac) installed, then you must download it, install it, and extract/unzip the update files folder before you can complete the update procedure.
