FZ-5 er en moderne pedal utviklet til den moderne gitarist, men lyden du oppnår med en FZ-5 er rendyrket retro. Med 60-og 70-årenes fantastiske rocke-lyd som utgangspunkt, gjenskaper FZ-5 sin vintage fuzz-effekt ved hjelp av BOSS’ høyutviklede COSM-teknologi. Finn igjen klangen i klassiske pedaler som Maestro FZ-1A, Fuzz Face og Octavia.
