Preparing in advance to use VE-500 Editor
Before you use VE-500 Editor, the appropriate USB driver for the product you’re using must be installed on your computer.
Downloading and unarchiving the compressed file
- Read the Software License Agreement at the bottom of this screen and tick the "I Agree..." checkbox.
- Click the "Download" button to download the installer.
- Double-click the file to unzip it if the file is not already unzipped.

Installing the app
- Double-click "VE-500 Editor Installer (.pkg)" in the unzipped folder.
- The installer starts. Follow the on-screen instructions to install.
Launching the app
- Use a USB cable to connect the VE-500 to your computer, and then turn on the power of the VE-500.
*Do not use a USB cable that is designed only for charging a device. Charge-only cables cannot transmit data.
- Go to Launchpad or Application/BOSS folder, and double-click the "VE-500 Editor (.app)".
