Preparing in advance to use BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA BASS HEAD Ver.1.1.0 for macOS
To use the BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA BASS HEAD, you need to install the USB driver corresponding to the operating system you are using on your computer.

Downloading and unarchiving the compressed file
  1. Read the Software License Agreement at the bottom of this screen and tick the "I Agree..." checkbox.
  2. Click the "Download" button to download the installer.
  3. Double-click the file to unzip it if the file is not already unzipped.

Installing the app
  1. Double-click "BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA BASS HEAD Installer(.pkg)" in the unzipped folder.
  2. The installer starts. Follow the on-screen instructions to install.
  3. When the screen indicates "The installation was successful. The software was installed.", click the [Close] button.

Launching the app
  1. Use a USB cable to connect the KATANA BASS HEAD to your computer, and then turn on the power of the KATANA BASS HEAD.
    *Do not use a USB cable that is designed only for charging a device. Charge-only cables cannot transmit data.
  2. Go to Launchpad or Application/BOSS/KATANA BASS HEAD folder, and double-click "BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA BASS HEAD(.app)".
