Ready to rock.

Katana-25 is filled with dialed-in tones for immediate satisfaction. It sounds great straight out of the box, providing everything you need to explore different styles and enjoy playing from day one.

KATANA-25

Genuine tube amp tone and feel.

Key to the Katana series is the advanced BOSS Tube Logic design philosophy, which delivers the authentic tube sound and feel that’s the benchmark among pro players everywhere. Like classic tube designs, Katana-25’s speaker and 25-watt reactive analog power section work in harmony to create a highly interactive playing experience with rich, warm bass, sweet high-end detail, and punchy dynamic response.

KATANA-25

Solid cabinet, lightweight design.

The Katana-25 cabinet features special BOSS design elements for optimized tone in a compact package. The open-back configuration, careful construction, and custom eight-inch speaker come together to produce full, satisfying sound that brings every playing session to life.

KATANA-25

Premium sounds for every style.

Katana-25’s six unique amp characters allow you to play any musical style with studio-grade tone, from pop, blues, and country to classic rock and high-gain metal. One amp character is tuned for acoustic-electric instruments, further increasing this amp’s versatility. You can also enhance sounds with over 60 effects from the historic BOSS library (5 simultaneously), with the full selection and deep sound editing available in the companion BOSS Tone Studio app.

KATANA-25

Inspiration at your fingertips.

The Tone Setting section includes 20 ready-to-play presets for instant inspiration, plus 10 empty slots to store your own creations. You can also tweak core amp and effects parameters from the panel to make detailed adjustments without opening the app. In addition, you have a tap tempo button for delay effects and a convenient built-in tuner, an essential tool for every guitarist.

KATANA-25

Selectable Power Control.

Inspired by stage-class Katana models, Katana-25 features a Power Control to dial in responsive, cranked-amp tone at modest sound levels. Just flip a switch to toggle between full power punch and a half-watt mode that produces bedroom-friendly levels without sacrificing tone quality or feel.

KATANA-25

Jam and learn with onboard Bluetooth.

Integrated Bluetooth supercharges your guitar experience with smartphone connectivity. Jam along to songs from your device’s library through the onboard speaker or headphones. Then fire up BOSS Tone Studio to edit tones and explore a world of new sounds on BOSS Tone Exchange. There’s also a powerful Session feature that lets you browse and play YouTube content within the app and set up automatic Tone Setting changes as you play.

KATANA-25

Remote operation.

Katana-25 offers several options for controlling sounds in real time. Connect a BOSS footswitch to the top-panel jack to switch Tone Settings hands-free. Or select sounds and adjust parameters wirelessly with the FS-1-WL Wireless Footswitch or EV-1-WL Wireless Expression Pedal.
